I know that AMC marketed these here for a while, but it seemed odd enough to pull over and take a picture of. Renault 5's aren't that common in Indiana. Anyone know where that front plate might be from?

I lived thru the era of these things. They were junk. Bad. A pain to work on and rode like shit. LeCrap.
BTW-pic of yellow car is the uphill of Lime Rock I believe. Presume it died there the lap before and people were taking parts off it to keep theirs running.
